Hebrews 2 with Commentaries, verse by verse

Hebrews 2, we are warned to pay attention that we do NOT DRIFT AWAY. If the angwls could be punished shouldn't we be careful. in verse 3 how shall we escape if we ignore such great a salvation? This is an awesome thought!! We talk about the salvation of God but do we ever talk about judgement and hell? Both judgement and hell exist, it is INEVITABLE if we ignore God's salvation in His Son, Jesus Christ.
In verse 5-18 Althought Jesus was made a little lower than angels (in position) because of the Incarnation (not creation) is NOW crowned with glory and honor because He suffered death on the cross and rose again. Note verse 18, 'Because he himself suffered when he was tempted, he is able to help those who are being tempted.'

Hebrews 1 with Commentaries, verse by verse

There is a phrase to look for in Hebrews, it is superior to
In Hebrews 1, Jesus is superior to angels. Despite mistaken teachings among cults and the New Age Jesus WAS NEVER an angel. Jesus is the radiance of God's glory. He is a member of the Trinity. He has the same substance as the Father but is a different Person from the Father. He is seated at the right hand of God. The angels worship Him (verse 6). God spoke about the Son who is superior to angels in verse 8-9 and 10-13. Angels came and serve Him

Titus 2 with Commentaries, verse by verse
Paul encourage Titus to teach sound doctrine to several groups in the church. The sound doctrine is found in verese 11-14: 11For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men. 12It teaches us to say “No” to ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live selfcontrolled, upright and godly lives in this present age, 13while we wait for the blessed hope–the glorious appearing of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ, 14who gave himself for us to redeem us from all wickedness and to purify for himself a people that are his very own, eager to do what is good.He then conclude that the above doctrines are the ones that he should teach with authority. Titus should encourage and rebuke when necessary.

Paul wanted Titus to go to Crete to appoint elders who were qualified. The qualifications are spelled out in verse 6-9. There were rebellious people, mere talkers and deceivers. He told Titus to be careful in dealing with them, and how to deal with them.
