Today's Reading: Psalms 87-88; 1 Peter 3

READING LIST FOR BLENDED READINGS

1 Peter 3
This is discussion from Peter about wives and husbands (v.1-7) and suffering for doing good (v. 8-22)

Verses to meditate on:
8Finally, all of you, live in harmony with one another; be sympathetic, love as brothers, be compassionate and humble. 9Do not repay evil with evil or insult with insult, but with blessing, because to this you were called so that you may inherit a blessing.

Application
If we follow Peter's instruction about wives and husband, there would be less divorce and more hamony in marriages. What Peter taught would be politically upset and anti-femiinist!

We should suffer for doing good instead of suffering for doing evil. This would be a good testimony to our Lord.
