Today's Old Testament Readings with personal comments, commentary links and other useful illustrations: Psalms 120; 121; 122

2 Corinthians 6
Paul spoke of the hardship that he and his companions went through (v. 3-13), and not being yoked with unbelievers.

Application
Despite what has been thought in some churches today, IF you wnat to live for Christ or get involved in the Christian ministry, be prepared to suffer. The second point that Paul made was: was for Christians not to marry an unbeliever. WE see this happening frequently in the churches with Christian young people marry a non-Christian, hoping that one day, through their influence, would become saved. It does not work that way. "Missionary dating", that is a christian dating a non-Christian, hoping that one day the non-Christian would become saved.

Verses to meditate on:
14Do not be yoked together with unbelievers. For what do righteousness and wickedness have in common? Or what fellowship can light have with darkness? 15What harmony is there between Christ and Belial[b]? What does a believer have in common with an unbeliever? 16What agreement is there between the temple of God and idols? For we are the temple of the living God. As God has said: "I will live with them and walk among them, and I will be their God, and they will be my people."[c]
