Galatians 4
Paul spoke of our status as children of God (Gal. 3.26-4.7), his concern for the Galatians (v. 8-20) and Hagar and Sarah.
Verses to meditate on:
4 But when the fullness of the time had come, God sent forth His Son, born[a] of a woman, born under the law, 5 to redeem those who were under the law, that we might receive the adoption as sons.
6 And because you are sons, God has sent forth the Spirit of His Son into your hearts, crying out, “Abba, Father!” 7 Therefore you are no longer a slave but a son, and if a son, then an heir of[b] God through Christ. (NKJV)
Application
When you receive Christ, believe in His name, you become a child of God (John 1.12). Do you realize that you are a heir, with privleges and all the blessings of the Kngdom. Why live like a pauper when you are really a child of the King.
